New size category for ITA Nordic machine base

Ita Nordic has acquired a new multifunctional turning center for the Puntala plant. The maximum turning diameter of the machine is 830mm and the maximum length of the piece to be turned is 3000mm.

The machine will be equipped with Fanuc robot, which has the handling capacity of 750kg.

The investment will enable the growth of the business especially in large axes and rotors. The machine has short setup times and can be used to produce high-precision large pieces. This ensures efficient manufacturing capacity for current demanding customers and opens up new business opportunities with new partners.

The new machine will start production during the first quarter of 2020.
